Soms is het heel erg lekker om muziek op te hebben staan die niet direct een groot beslag op je concentratie legt. Muziek die je opzet als je toch iets melodisch op de achtergrond wilt hebben, maar die niet gelijk overheerst. Voor als je je hoofd bij je werk moet houden of voordat je in slaap valt. Yarns From The Chocolate Triangle van Chocolate Hills & The Orb is zo’n plaat. De perfecte soundtrack om je eigen beelden op los te laten gemaakt van een mengeling van library music, exotica, kitch, downtempo, folk, spaced out pop en een vleugje drum’n’bass. Dit alles gebaseerd op een ingebeelde reis naar de Bermudadriehoek en terug. Klinkt vaag en dat is het ook. Maar o zo mooi! Overall, Nehamari feels calm, patient, and understanding. It doesn’t demand attention or speed. It simply waits, giving me space to move in my own time.
